  1. Step-by-step instructions
  2. Create a new billing account

Create a new billing account

Cloud members can create one or more billing accounts. To do this:

    1. In the management console, go to Billing.

    2. On the Account list page, click Create an account.

    3. Select the country that the payer is a resident of.

Under one Yandex account, all payers must be either residents of the Russian Federation or non-residents.

    4. If your Yandex account is linked to your Yandex.Balance profile, a list of available payers is shown under Payers. Select the appropriate one.

      Otherwise, skip this step.

    5. Enter the name of the billing account. The name is displayed in the list of your billing accounts and helps you select the one you need.

    6. Select the payer type: Individual or Business or entrepreneur.

If the payer is a non-resident of Russia, only one payer type is available: Business (non-resident of Russia).

    7. Fill in the form:

      Applying as an individual
      Business

Enter your full name and link your bank card:

      • Click Add card.
      • Enter the bank card details: the 16-digit number, expiration date, and CVV (on the back of the card).
      • Click Link.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and MIR bank cards.

      Note

Funds from the linked card can only be debited after activating the paid version and using Yandex.Cloud services.

To make sure your bank card is valid, a small amount will be held in your account. This amount will not be debited and will become available once verification is complete and the funds are released. The amount of time before held funds are released depends on how and when your bank handles transactions.

7.1. Select a payment method (bank card or bank transfer):

      • Bank card

        Link your corporate bank card:

        • Click Add card.
        • Enter the bank card details: the 16-digit number, expiration date, and CVV (on the back of the card).
        • Click Link.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and MIR bank cards.

        Note

Linking a bank card is only necessary for creating a billing account. Funds from the linked card can only be debited after activating the paid version and using Yandex.Cloud services. You can change your payment method any time after creating a billing account.

      • Bank transfer

7.2. Enter the legal details of your organization.

      Note

Carefully fill in your contact information and payment details. This information is required not only to contact you, but also to issue payment invoices and send financial documents.

    8. Read the agreement. If you agree to the terms and conditions, select I have read and accept the Terms.

    9. Read the terms of the offer. If you agree to the terms, click Activate.

The billing account is created with a status:

      • NEW: For individuals who are residents of Russia with any payment method and businesses that are residents of Russia with the Bank card payment method.
      • Payment_not_confirmed: For individual entrepreneurs and organizations that are residents of Russia with the Bank transfer payment method and for businesses that are non-residents of Russia with any payment method. An email with further instructions is sent to the email address specified in your Yandex or Yandex.Connect account. It may take up to three business days to activate your billing account.

      Note

When you create a billing account, you're automatically assigned the billing.accounts.owner owner role. You can't change owners. However, you can grant another user access to your account. To learn more, see Access management.
