For more information, see How to pay for resources.
What payment methods can I use?
The method for crediting funds depends on your legal status (billing account type):
How do I change my payment method?
The payment method can only be changed for a billing account of the Business account type: you can only use a transfer from your bank account instead of a transfer from your bank card.
The payment method cannot be changed for a billing account of the Individual account type.
What cards are accepted for payment?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and MIR bank cards.
Is there a minimum payment amount?

In which currency can I pay for Yandex.Cloud?

You must pay for Yandex.Cloud resources in US dollars ($), regardless of the country you live in.
Can I pay for resources with a bank card in a different currency?
Yes.
If you pay for resources with a bank card in a foreign currency, the equivalent amount in rubles, including VAT, is debited from the bank card. Additional bank fees for the currency conversion might be debited or credited a day or two later.
I linked a bank card to my billing account. When will money be debited from it?
If this is your trial period, funds will not be debited from the bank card you linked.
Since you do not automatically upgrade to the paid version at the end of the trial period, funds are only debited after activating the paid version and using Yandex.Cloud services.
If you upgraded to the paid version and used Yandex.Cloud services, do the following to stop incurring charges:
- Settle your arrears (if any).
- Delete all billable service resources.
- Contact technical support to deactivate your account.
I linked a cloud to a new billing account. How do I pay for services now?

Will you provide an agreement for the provision and payment of services?
In Yandex.Cloud, all services for residents and non-residents of Russia are rendered under an agreement that you accept when you create a billing account. The agreement does not need to be signed by both parties.

Where can I read the terms of the agreement?
You can learn more about the terms of the agreement in the section Yandex.Legal documents.
You can learn more about the terms of the agreement in the section Yandex.Legal documents.

Businesses may conclude an agreement that is signed by both parties. To do this, you must submit a request using the Ask a question form on the Contact us page. A Yandex.Cloud manager will contact you to discuss terms and conditions of signing the agreement.
How is resource consumption charged?
Yandex.Cloud resources are consumed on an as-needed basis. The amount for resources consumed is calculated individually for each service.
For more information, see Pricing.
Questions about the billing account
How many billing accounts can I create?
One client can create multiple billing accounts.
Under one Yandex account, all payers must be either residents of the Russian Federation or non-residents.
For example, you created a Business billing account type for
Russia. The payer of this account is a business and resident of the Russian Federation. All your next billing accounts must also be created forRussiawith payers that are residents of the Russian Federation (businesses or individuals). Selecting another country creates an error.
How many clouds can I link to my billing account?
You can link a billing account to one or more clouds, but each cloud can only be linked to one billing account. If a cloud is already linked to another account, linking it to a new account unlinks it from the current one.
I created a new billing account, but it's blocked. Why?
It's most likely that you previously created a billing account that activated the trial period. Your billing account received the initial grant during the trial period. Since the initial grant can only be given to one billing account, you cannot use the trial period during re-registration. As a result, your new billing account is created with the SUSPENDED
status.
To unblock your new billing account, activate the paid version and top up your personal account for the minimum amount (the minimum amount is shown in the Top up account window).
How do I change my billing account type?
You can't change a billing account type once it's created, but you can create a new one.
How do I enable the credit limit?
The credit limit is enabled automatically after the paid version is activated and the first reporting period ends.
How do I change my payment method?
The payment method can only be changed for a billing account of the Business account type: you can only use a transfer from your bank account instead of a transfer from your bank card.
The payment method cannot be changed for a billing account of the Individual account type.
How can I change my payment details or the delivery address?
Only the owner of the billing account can change the details. If you are the owner, follow the instructions in Change your billing account data.
I didn't receive an email with instructions on what to do after creating a billing account with the Bank transfer payment method. Why?
It may take up to three business days to activate your billing account.
If you didn't receive an email within that period, send a request to: cloud_docs@support.yandex.ru.
Your request should contain:
-
For individual entrepreneurs
- A scanned copy of an extract from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (USRIE).
- Your Yandex username (the one you used to create your billing account) or the ID of your billing account.
-
For businesses
- Full company name.
- A copy of the minutes or resolution on the appointment of the general director.
- Your Yandex username (the one you used to create your billing account) or the ID of your billing account.
I unlinked a bank card from my Yandex.Passport account and now my billing account is blocked. What should I do?
Your billing account status changed to SUSPENDED
in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement (clause 6.11.4.).
After suspension, an email with instructions on how to restore access was sent to the email address specified in your Yandex or Yandex.Connect account.
I can't link a bank card when creating a billing account. What should I do?
The service most likely doesn't support the payment system of your bank card.
To resolve the issue, try linking a different bank card or, if you are a business owner, create a billing account with the Business account type and Bank transfer payment method.
Why do I get the error "The country is not available to the payer" when creating a billing account?
You most likely logged in under a Yandex account that is already linked to a payer with a different residence status.
Under one Yandex account, all payers must be either residents of the Russian Federation or non-residents.
To create a billing account with a payer who is a resident of another country, log in under a different Yandex.Passport or Yandex.Connect account.
For example, you created a Business billing account type for
Russia. The payer of this account is a business and resident of the Russian Federation. All your next billing accounts must also be created forRussiawith payers that are residents of the Russian Federation (businesses or individuals). Selecting another country creates an error.
Questions about the trial period and paid version
Is there a trial period for Yandex.Cloud?
Yes. For more information, see the document Trial period.
Who can use the trial period?
All new Yandex.Cloud customers.
Can I upgrade to the paid version if the trial period hasn't expired yet?
Yes, you can. For more information, see Activate the paid version.
What happens to my resources if I don't upgrade from the trial period to the paid version?
All your resources will be blocked. For more information, see the document Trial period.
Is there a free non-commercial version?
No. However, you can use the trial period.
During the trial period, your billing account will be credited for the amount of the initial grant. You can use it to pay for resources of any Yandex.Cloud services.
For more information about the terms of use and restrictions, see the document Trial period.
I upgraded to the paid version. Can I go back to the trial period?
No.
If you don't spend the full amount of the initial grant or one of its parts before upgrading to the paid version, you can use the remaining amount depending on when the grant expires:
-
The grant expires before you upgrade to the paid version.
The remaining amount expires and you can't use it to pay for Yandex.Cloud services after upgrading to the paid version.
-
The grant expires after you upgrade to the paid version.
You can use the remaining amount to pay for services, but only until the grant expires: as soon as that happens, the remaining amount expires, too.
For more information, see Billing cycle.
