Creating an alert

To create an alert:

1. On the Monitoring home page, click Create alert.

2. Specify the main parameters of the alert:

   • Name. Enter the channel name.
   • Description. Enter the notification method.

3. Specify the alert triggers:

   1. Select the metric to base the alert on.

   2. Set up the main and additional alert parameters:

      • Alert trigger.
      • Aggregation function.
      • Evaluation window.

4. Specify the notification channel. If you don't have a notification channel, create one.

5. Click Create alert. The alert will appear in the list.
