    Syntax

    As a function

    ISNULL( expression )
    

    As an operator

    expression IS [ NOT ] NULL
    

    Description

    Returns TRUE if expression is NULL, otherwise returns FALSE.

    expression IS NOT NULL returns the opposite result.

    Argument types:

    • expression — Any

    Return type: Boolean
