Video management systems for face and cars recognition with computer vision algorithms.

System functionality

  • Facial recognition software with the ability to recognize specific individuals.
  • Recognition of car’s state number.
  • Control and management of access devices based on the security data. For example, automatic door opening with facial recognition or garage opening with preauthorized vehicle license plate recognition.
  • Recording event timetable of arrival and departure of people through a building entrance, as well as continuous video recording of movement throughout the specified area.
Deployment instructions
  1. Get an SSH key pair to connect to a virtual machine (VM).
  2. Create a VM from a public image. Under Image/boot disk selection, go to the Cloud Marketplace tab and select eVision. Under Access:
    • Enter the username in the Login field.
    • Paste the contents of the public key file in the SSH key field.
  3. Open http://<public_IP_address_of_the_virtual_machine>/ in your browser.
  4. Use the following parameters for authorization:
    • Username: Admin.
    • Password: The password is located at /root/evision-data/password.txt. To see the password, connect to the VM via SSH and run the the command sudo cat /root/evision-data/password.txt.
  5. Change your username and password in the Users tab of the application interface.
  6. Delete the text file with the password by running the command sudo rm /root/evision-data/password.txt.
