Host classes

The host class determines the computing power allocated for each host in the cluster. When you change the host class for a cluster, all existing hosts change to match.

The available storage does not depend on the host class. For storage limitations, see Quotas and limits.

Available host classes

Hosts in Managed Service for PostgreSQL clusters are deployed on Yandex Compute Cloud virtual machines. These virtual machines can be created on any of the platforms that support Compute Cloud. For a detailed description of the platforms, see Platforms.
