Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security (BYOL)

Updated April 26, 2023

Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security provides a single license to protect your resources in public clouds and private data centers, virtual servers and desktops, as well as containerized environments. The product considers all the features of hybrid environments and effectively counteracts such threats as encryptors, exploits, and phishing. By integrating with public clouds over the API, the solution ensures optimal performance levels.

You can manage the solution from a single Kaspersky Security Center (KSC) console to optimize your expert IT and IS resources. You can set up policies to protect your servers and network traffic, configure workstation tracking, and perform routine administration tasks.

Kaspersky Security implements the Shared Responsibility Model where you oversee the security of your infrastructure and data, and the provider is solely responsible for the services.

You need a license to use the product in Bring Your Own License (BYOL) mode. To find vendors in your region, visit the Kaspersky Lab site.

You also need to deploy a server for the KSC console. You can use the calculator at the bottom of the page to evaluate the cost of your solution. System requirements for the KSC console.

  6. Set the username and password for accessing Kaspersky Security Center Web Console.

  7. Wait for the installation completion message.

The VM restarts automatically 5 minutes after installation is complete.
