CORRECT: Document recognition service

The CORRECT service allows you to extract information from documents of various types and contents. The service determines the type and structure of the document, recognizes text and barcode values, finds the tabular part, and checks for the presence of seals, stamps and signatures. One template allows you to process many different types of documents of the same type.

The service performs image preparation (alignment, rotation, focusing, changing resolution) and
checking extracted data such as:

• mathematical checks of line-by-line, total, checksums, VAT;
• checks according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs, directories of names, addresses, codes and names of departments, nomenclatures.

The document recognition result is a document structure with fields. For each field, the Service returns confidence in the recognized data, pointers to uncertainly recognized characters, and field coordinates on the page image.

The necessary templates are connected by the administrator in the service web interface. The use of templates is included in the price and is not paid for.

1. Create a VM from a public image. Under Image/boot disk selection, go to the Cloud Marketplace tab and select CORRECT: Document recognition service.

2. In your browser, go to http://<VM public IP address>:8080/.

3. When connecting to the service for the first time, you must specify the login and password from the instructions and your new password with confirmation.,

   • Username: Admin.
   • Password: Admin0123456789.

4. When the service interface loads, change the default password.

5. In the settings, specify the required recognition templates and the connection parameters for the external service DaData (in Russian).
