Yandex Cloud Logging

A service for aggregating and reading the logs of user applications
and Yandex.Cloud resources.

The service is at the Preview stage and can be used free of charge.

Service and application logs
The service aggregates runtime data from different resources into a log group. Use the pre-configured log groups or create new log groups for the selected services and applications.
Filtering and search
Filter entries using queries. When working with Cloud Logging, you can use logical operators, search by parameters, or search inside JSON parameters.
Secure data storage
Cloud Logging collects, processes and stores logs for up to 7 days. An isolated data storage space is allocated for each log group. You can configure read and write access using roles.

What is a log group?

A log group is a way to group Yandex.Cloud service logs and user messages.
There are two types of groups:

  • Default log groups. A default log group is created for each folder. This log group is used to automatically write service logs, unless a user log group is specified. You can also write logs to the default log group yourself.
  • User log groups. You can create a log group yourself and write to it the service data you need.
