Using shared templates
If you want other users to be able to use your template:

Set up template sharing. You can configure access permissions for individual users, or the entire company.

Tell your colleagues to enable your template in their personal settings.
Setting up access to a template
To change the access settings for a template:

On the Tracker top panel, click
→ Manage templates.

Select an option:
- Issues to edit issue templates.
- Comments to edit comment templates.

You can filter out the templates you don't need by clicking
.

Click Access rights next to the desired template.

Configure the Read, Write, and Grant permissions for the following categories:

Users and robots: Individual settings for individual users. To add a user to this category, enter the login or the user's name in the search bar at the top of the table.

Groups: Settings for all employees.

Roles: Settings for users who have specific roles for the template:
- Owner: The template owner. By default, the owner is the person who created the template. They're the only ones with the Write and Grant permissions.
- Queue team member: Users who are members of the queue team that the issue is assigned to.

Shared templates are available to all users on the Select tab.
Sharing a template
To share a template with a coworker, send a link to the template:

On the Tracker top panel, click
→ Manage templates.

Select an option:
- Issues to edit issue templates.
- Comments to edit comment templates.

You can filter out the templates you don't need by clicking

Next to the desired template, select
→ Link to template.

Copy the contents of the browser's address bar and send it to the person you want to share it with.
Note
The user will only be able to see the template if they have read access to it.
Enabling a shared template
If you have read access to the desired template, you can use it to create issues and comments. To do this, enable a template:

On the Tracker top panel, click
→ Manage templates.

Select an option:
- Issues to edit issue templates.
- Comments to edit comment templates.
